Solopalmari are in the process of publishing detailed reviews of the HTC HD2, and in the process have published the first pictures and video taken by the 5 megapixel camera. 

They note while they were not blown away with the quality, it was broadly in line with that of HTC’s other 5 megapixel cameras.

racetomarket The Windows Mobile Marketplace has now opened for submissions to 29 countries world wide, and to celebrate Microsoft is starting a new promotion. The “Race to Market Challenge,” will allow developers to one 1 of 4 Surface tables, worth around $10 000 each.

Applications will be judged on:

  • Most downloads of a free app
  • Most valuable app (downloads x price)
  • Most useful (as judged by Microsoft panel)
  • Most playful (as judged by Microsoft panel)

Contest runs from launch to Dec 31, 2009.
