Microsoft releases 6 new 3D games for ZuneHD
The 4.3 update to the ZuneHD saw added support for 3D games, and Microsoft has now delivered in this promise by releasing 6 games into the online marketplace.
The games, which are all free, include:
- PGR: ferrari edition, a 3d racegame
- Lucky lane bowling, a 3d bowling game
- Vans Sk8: Pool service, a 3d Skate game
- Piano, a simple piano where you can play your own tunes on
- Audio Surf: Tilt, ride your music – you choose a song that the game will turn into a roller coaster track for you to ride
- Checkers, I don’t think you’ll need a description for this one

Seeing as this just got announced today, you won't see that many videos about the games.
They look pretty cool, hope we'll see such stuff getting to the WinMo platform.

I seem to remember someone somewhere saying Zune games could run in WinMo, if this is true, once the zune picks up… itll be two middle fingers to iphone games

Perhaps in winmo 7? Dont know.. Winmo 5.x and 6.x run on CE 5. Zune runs CE 6. Winmo 7 will run CE 7. Perhaps Winmo 7 will share a gaming API with ZuneHD making it easy to port games between the two? That would be nice.

I Think Big problem of porting a game will be wrapping the opengl 2.0 layer/driver of each game to the snapdragon gpu. For that developers need the SDK of the HD2 including opengl API, but as long htc refuses that kind of developer support we’ll only get that crappy stuff as usual

looks good, really good.
