ViewSonic back in the Windows Mobile game with V901
The last time we saw ViewSonic make a Windows Mobile device was when they made some pretty nice PDA’s with excellent screens.
Now a device called the V901has shown up on Microsoft China’s website. The device, which bears a resemblance to the HTC Imagio, similarly has a 3.6 inch WVGA screen and is only 12.75 mm thick.
The smartphone runs on CDMA and is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 and seem to have an Omnia-like widget overlay.

Nice going Viewsonic, for replicating the gimmicky TouchWiz interface from Samsung for yourself.
I only have the original Omnia so it doesn't have the latest TouchWiz, but I've never used it and I'm constantly switching home screens. It's all well and good to be able to customize your home screen like HTC Sense, but TouchWiz is designed so you always add and remove widgets and in my mind that's just a useless gimmick.
