Haha. I think it would be good if you had the ability to exclude posts with certain tags for the minority who are sick of it.

    What?

something like they have on the gawker blogs. you put something at the end of the URL and it will exclude certain tags. they do it to deal with stuff like mac/pc news or NSFW articles.

    Who? Reply:

    Gizmodo allows this, I think.

    Foamy Reply:

    Giz is part of gawker

Never seen Surur so obsessed with a phone since the original Touch HD. Hell, we had a news story every day for about a month until it was released.

Now if we could just get it on a decent network. T-Mobile blows.

Wow…. Wow…. I have T-mobile, Its Pretty Good, I always have full Bars, and my bill isnt more than my phone cost a month. What do u think is better….At&t?–T-mobile is going to have faster 3g than them soon, and my palls(4 of them) say they get no bars in curtain places in there house– VZW?–Has the worst reception when your in a building, I know, I tried with some test phones– Sprint?–Well, I dont know about them, They are pretty good actually, I just hate that I cant just move my sim and put it in a different phone– the only bad thing T-mobile has is that the 3G map is limited, but At&t cant talk.

    Lennard Reply:

I dont' mind which network it goes on, as long as it's reaches the US on a network with good 3G coverage.

    WMPerson Reply:

Ya, me neither, Ill still get it if its with t-mobile or sprint… VZW, then I would have to get a review version.

I should think that by now most people will have to decided to buy it, not buy it or wait till they see what actual users think of it (rather than reviewers who haven't lived with the phone for any length of time).

So now it's just phone-porn, and while I don't have a problem with porn I like to keep it in its proper place rather than see it plastered across 'normal' websites.

So your a Stop guy… well thats why Im doing this post…. If their is enought no more… Ill tell the Admin… No more, or limited HD2 Post a day.

    [Reply]

    Bugblatter Reply:

Well maybe keep the HD2 page for those that want all the HD2 news and a daily digest post on the main site? That way those that want all the news can still have it, those that don't just have to ignore one post and those just keeping an eye on it can read the digest and see if anything catches their eye.

Anandtech's news site, Dailytech, does a single post with a round-up of hardware reviews, which keeps them from cluttering up the rest of the site.

Every bit of news is good news, just that i think a little bit of foresight is needed when i see posts of shaky and blurry youtube vid of some review that has no new significance in what we've already known. I guess when it's a slow news day, u gotta do what you gotta do to fill up the time, but how are these headlines even newsworthy? I understand that there are some people who are not in the "know" as much as others and too much news would deem acceptable in this respect, but I give the benefit of the doubt to the majority of the readers here that many of us get our news from various of sources (xda, giz, engadget, etc) and are fairly knowledgeable in the HD2 or just the mobile world in general.

With that said, I know you guys are hard at work at finding whether or not the HD2 is coming to AT&T. (btw, was there ever a follow-up to a post made a few months back about the HD2 appearing on Telstra support page?)

    [Reply]

    WMPerson Reply:

No, But Ill look for more details and post it if i do. Im also sorry for the bad video's, I will be getting a new Camcorder on black Friday, just so I can do better videos and what not, Im also getting a tripod to eliminate the shakiness.

I just LOVE the HD2 phone and cannot wait to buy one if will ever come to T-Mobile USA next year, but at this point I think is torturous to read and watch over and over again same unboxing and specs if we cannot have it! Let's hear some other news as well and when the time comes….PLEASE shower us with all the good news!!!!!!!!! What to you think, guys?

what I am more interested in is to find out who will ever notice that HTC didn't issue any official windows 6.5 update up till now for Arabic users for htc devices touch pro2 and touch diamond 2 I am sure if you listed more, you'll find that there are lots of other updates didn't get released I love the hd2, it’s a great piece of hardware, but I’d really love to use winmo 6.5 on my diaomnd2 thanks

It is too much but I understand the fact that this is the only positive event in WM world in the last several months – so everybody wants to read about it again and again. Obviously… I really really understand it.

    Lennard Reply:

I dont' think that's it, but I can only speak for myself. I love to hear about the phone because it is a nice phone, it is almost like the one I designed so it's a real treat to see something so similar to my dream phone out to the public.

  • WMBerry says:

I love seeing what a WinMo device can actually become, even if MicroSoft can't or won't do anything with it themselves. Maybe with all the interest being shown this device MicroSoft will begin to realize there is an unlimited amount of potential available on this platform and begin to step it up even more.

As for the HTC HD2 itself, I can't wait for it to get to the US. I understand all who want to see it on AT&T, but as a Verizon customer I hope they get the HD2 as a VZW World Phone. Now that would be smokin'!

Since Verizon will never carry this phone, it's just sour grapes for me.
