T-Mobile UK HTC HD2 now also leaking out

While the O2 HTC HD2 has been formally announced and seemingly not available, the situation with the T-Mobile UK version seems exactly the opposite. While the device is not supposed to be available yet, Coolsmartphone reports one lucky punter has already been able to get his hands on one, and that the super smartphone may be lying in wait in many T-Mobile stores.
Daniel Cunningham found the HD2 in his local T-Mo store and they’d had it in stock for 3 days. He was offered one free for £40 p/m on an 18 month contract, so you may find the HD2 hiding away in your local store too.
Well now I know what I will be doing tomorrow – HTC HD2 hunting!

I'm just waiting for my credit card to arrive so i can get one on the awesome tmobile deals from mobilephonesdirect. They actually offer one contract which in total (over 18m) is cheaper than the phone would be unlocked new.

this is the simplest definition of dumbphone: A phone where you can install java MIDlets only.
