Real multitouch on the HTC HD2!

I’ve been dabbling in some code and have finally found out how to do true multitouch on the HD2.

This isn’t some cop out with only pinch zooming, this is the real, multipoint deal :) It’s only two points, but two is better than one right? :D

I’ll post some more about it when I’ve managed to make my code readable, probably at XDA-Developers, and with some code samples! :)

omg! you’re my god! :D can’t wait to see this soon up for apps like fpsce :x and many others! thanks for your work (ps: you said “it’s only two points” but it’s awesome! because wm 6.5 doesn’t deal with multitouch)

    So thanks again :D

I''ll be posting a "how to" so others can use it.

The really great thing (and it's demonstrated in the second of the two videos) is that it doesn't interfere with single touch events, so applications can run on non-multitouch devices.

Now, there's one thing left: How to make use of the compass?

Oh really? go blame apple for calling they're dualtouch gestures (yes, their apps only utilize 2-finger-input) multitouch.
I know that the iPhone is indeed multitouch-capable, but apple advertised it with 2-finger-input…

Also, keep such comments to yourself. he clearly said that it's only 2 fingers (for now?) and that surely isn't bad to start with! As he said, it's better than 1 finger, right? Right.

@WMPU, some comments don't show on the actual page (like mine that i wrote yesterday) but they do show on the right side (last comments). Mind to fix it? It happened before, I received mails about replies to my comments yet they didnt show up on the page :S. Pretty annoying.
