  i am furious. after placing the order with expnasys uk for this sweet phone and waiting for 4 days i got my order declined and canceled ( after they took the money out of my paypal account of course) and after arguing with them for 3 hours today and 2 hours yesterday and being lied to ( they told me there was an issue with paypal that later on i found out it was a lie then they told me something about not charging me enough for the phone etc etc), i finally found out somebody able to help me and they told me this: ” because of the issues with qualcomm chips ( i apologize if the name is incorrect) they are not able to ship this phone to the USA and they ones they have here in their warehouse they are unable to sell beacuse they’re banned for sale too. S o i honestly do not know if this is true or not and now i am waiting for my refund and i’m mad in the worst possible way. Why could not they have told me this beforehand so i could have save tons of time looking for a different gift for my wife’s birthday this weekend !!!!! please let me know guys if you know anything about this and if there is something i could do.   That qualcom ban is nonsense. While its true it was in place before, it was lifted in October 2008 (http://news.cnet.com/8301-1001_3-10066700-92.html).

  It maybe that eXpansys is unaware or this, or it may be that with a limited number of devices they sold more than they actually had (common for eXpansys)

  While eXpansys carries a great selection of smartphones, they are not in fact known for good customer service or rapid deliveries.

  Tahnks for the info man. Now here is the info that i got form expansys and from dianna at the FCC. There seems to be 2 kinds of chips from qualcomm : the 7200 (imate ultimate 9502) and the 7200a( do not know what devices carry this chip). The problem is that the 7200 is till banned where the other is not so expansys will not be able to sell the phone to anyone on the states. they can sell it to anyone in mexico, canada, or any other part of the world but no one from the states. This answer comes form expansys and from dianna at the FCC, a lady to who i talk to about this and was kind enough to provide me with this info. So now i am in the process of getting my money back from expansys ( since they already submitted the order to refund the money to my account) and then with any luck if the friend of my father can help me to get it from expansys uk then he will send it to me as soon as possible. I had to explained this to my wife and even though she was very sad and dissapointed she understood but i am still mad that expansys lied to me 3 times before finding out the truth. Anyhow : “Friend beware : 1st of the way expansys handled their bussiness ans 2nd thst you will NOT BE ALLOWED to get this phone in the states from them. thanks for you help and have a great day.
