HTC Touch Diamond 2 priced, dated
eXpansys, our favourite online retailer, if only because of their regular product leaks, have placed the HTC Touch Diamond 2 up for pre-order for £399.99 (£347.82, about $500, without tax).
This price compares extremely favourably with the launch price of the original HTC Touch Diamond, which cost around £475 when it was released a year ago.
eXpansys has also listed an expected release date, pencilling in the 17 April 2009.
If you are interested in pre-ordering the new, better, and more affordable HTC Touch Diamond 2, read more at eXpansys here.
Thanks Colin for the tip.

I wonder how HTC got the prices down… outsourcing labor? subsidizing supply? paying qualcomm even less for driver features?
I think I’ll keep the diamond I’m using right now to type this. That is until someone finally deploys a tegra in the field.
