No more waiting – HTC Touch Diamond 2 now available
After what felt like an interminable run up, the HTC Touch Diamond 2 is now available from Devicewire.com.
The smartphone will be retailing at £449.99 (£391.30 without vat, about $586 for importers).
At the time of writing there is only 10 in stock, so if you want to be first on the block with this very desirable device you better hurry!
Thanks Jeff for the tip.

Isn’t it funny, how not too expensive = $600?
We have been paying soo much for these unlocked “super” phones over the past couple years, that we forget what it feels like to be a regular consumer buying a $100 LG feature phone or $200 iPhone direct from the carrier.

Am I reading the Specifications wrong on the HTC Direct site?? The Touch Diamond two is a dual radio? Both CDMA and GSM?

WCDMA is the GSM version of 3G, so its not a CDMA device as the US market knows it.

personally i will hold off any new phone as there is a lot of hype over HTC.
soon many new WVGA phones with enough ram and good sized rom will be available to match HTC. I am referring to Acer, g-smart, samsung(hopefully). These factors will bring the prices down.
I would only buy these new generation HTC devices for touchflo 3d if i loved it that much. currently prefer wm 6.5
