Video review of Toshiba TG01
PocketPCItalia has published a video review of the Toshiba TG01, and its performance is certainly impressive enough, consistent with its speedy 1Ghz processor.
In fact, running at that speeds seems to allow even Pocket Internet Explorer to shine. Screen rotation is impressively rapid, and and video performance very good.
One new feature not noted before is the zoom bar at the bottom of the device, which appear to function very well in PIE, although the reviewer interestingly did not show it working in the photo viewer. I expect with Windows Mobile 6.5 providing an improved and more compelling user experience this device will become extremely compelling.

Wow, mind blowing. That’s is one huge phone tho and Snapdragon makes this thing super fast. PIE6 needed that much processor speed to run smoothly? So maybe there should be a 600mhz and up requirement for all WM devices. Very nice either way but I need a keyboard and some Tegra.

Batista70 did a Spb3 video on the TG01 in Italian as well( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImsqzgDT9_E )and it does look and functions better and faster than I have seen.

maybe in the definitive release, this is a prototype and some functions aren’t workin’
