Verizon not to be left out – Verizon Touch Pro 2 and Snap pictured too
Sprint’s version of the HTC Touch Pro 2 has barely seen the ink dry on its leak/announcement, when Verizon responded by letting us know (again via the sneaky leak channel) that they will in fact not be left behind in 2009, and also have a Ace (or actually a HTC Snap) and Touch Pro 2 up their sleeves.
The devices look every much as good as the Sprint versions, and feature the black keyboard which I feel make for a much more professional looking device.
Unfortunately the Snap pictured looks as gimped as the Sprint version, again seemingly with a shiny fingerprintastic shell and no trackball, but we will have to wait for better pictures to make a real judgement.
The pictures are from the D474RPR blog who seem to have quite a handful of unannounced smartphones snapped.

Bryant: There are mandates to what is required on WM 6.5 Phones as a standard phone experience to prevent what you are referring to. Question is, will it be honored on 6.1 phones that are 6.5 compatible? Don’t recall Verizon sending free upgrades to 6.1, so maybe they won’t.

i’m sorry because there is some true to what you are saying
but you and i both know this phone a true value, and verizon always
gets high end phones but to verizon its just money and what happens
to a phone doesnt really matter

I had the first Touch Pro. I waited literally months for that thing to come out and stayed up the night it was released to VZW. Only to be freakin disappointed by them RAPING a truly awesome device. They gimped everything they can gimp. That thing was so slow it was aweful. And you know, they disabled the interface to just the standard winmo interface because it didn’t have enough memory to run it. I hate VZW for doing this to phones and wish they would stop. Of course that will never happen.
