German Toshiba TG01 to have Nimbuzz, USB Host
Nimbuzz, the cross platform, cross network IM and more application has announced that its native preinstalled version will be available on the highly anticipated Toshiba TG01 handset. The app works for contacting all of your friends across multiple networks from one place and integrates local social networks such as StudiVZ in the client along side all of the major global communities.
Hiroyuki Goto, Technical Director, Toshiba Information Systems (UK) Ltd, Mobile Communications Division added: "We chose the best of breed mobile content to accompany such a strategic handset for our business and are delighted to offer the TG01 with Nimbuzz as our social messaging partner for the launch of the device with O2 Germany."
Additionally for users who want to treat the 1Ghz device more as a computer than a phone, welcome news is the revelation that the TG01 supports USB Host via an option USB Host cable. This opens up the ability to easily read thumb drives or even connect to external hard drives, and also to connect USB keyboards and mice.
See Toshiba’s promotional site for more detail.
Thanks Wishmaster for the tip.

Ok, nice press release. Before potential buyers get too excited, google the tests that attest the TG01 with lousy voice quality and battery. Eye-candy will not change that.
