FourSquare mobile social networking app being ported to Windows Mobile
FourSquare is an new social networking app that is all about helping you keep up and meet up with your friends and find ways of having a good time together.
The app is currently only available on the iPhone, but one enterprising Windows Mobile user is working to bring it to this platform.
The app is still in a very early stage, and you have to e-mail the developer to get the cab, but it already shows a lot of promise, allowing users to “check in” (announce their presence) at local venues identified using cell tower information and allow your friends to find you.
See the video demo below of the app in action.
The developer eventually plans to implement all the API’s available from FourSquare, which should allow the next important step – knowing where your friends are so you can meet up.

Neat. Seen others before. Make this work with all other phones – win.
Need to see more UI though, especially what they plan to use for map control
