AT&T HTC Touch Pro first pictures!!
A forum poster over at XDA-Developers has managed to lay his hands (at the cost of $900 (bargain!)) on the an AT&T branded HTC Touch Pro. The device, obviously intended for the US market, features 3G on the 850 band and also lacks the front facing VGA camera that denotes 3G phones in the European market. The TouchFlo3D interface also features some AT&T branding.
Of note is the unusual configuration of the keyboard. Despite being 5 rows, the number keys are still function keys, and the top row is occupied with punctuation keys.
There has been some speculation whether AT&T will carry this phone, since it seems HTC has been getting more support from CDMA carriers than AT&T recently, but this development is certainly very good news for US GSM customers.

[...] A user on the XDA Dev forums got his hands on an AT&T-branded HTC Touch Pro for the relatively (for now) low price of $900. Did someone at AT&T sneak one out and sell it on Craigslist? Who knows, but this one supposedly has AT&T branding on the home screen, plus is customized for US 3G—something the European version is not. The keyboard looks somewhat similar in color scheme the to AT&T 8525, which makes it somewhat more likely that these pics are the real deal. Then again, some guy could have just gotten a Euro version and put a hacked ROM on there with the AT&T logo. [XDA Devs via WM Power User</</p> [...]
