Verizon to drop price of all existing smartphones to $99
In a surprise move, it appears Verizon is responding to the iPhone 3G challenge by dropping the price of all existing smartphones, including the Verizon HTC Touch Pro, to $99.
The BGR speculated that this indicated a new influx of smartphones to the nations largest carrier, with the HTC Touch Pro 2 and HTC Touch Diamond 2 being only two of the handsets expected soon.
