There's no zoom bar because it carries a capacitive screen = multitouch…

true! it’ll be great if it really has multitouch and pinch zoom. but I really doubt winmo is going to support multitouch until 7.
Then again, I kinda prefer the bar to pinching (easy one handed vs hard one handed or two handed)

The display is too big for me. At this size it's not a phone but a MID.

This is my only concern. Why such an insanely big screen size? Is there such a huge market for it? Hardly, I believe.
However, if the original specs are to be believed (which incidentally seem to conform with the newer ones at a quick glance,) then the phone dimensions are smaller than the Toshiba TG01. This does seem to be the case as the screen-to-front ratio on the above rendering/photo does seem to be in line with the dimensions and screen size.
Which is good.

When phone has as much little bezel, then it is not THAT big. It seems to have smaller bezel than the Toshiba TG01, so it may be smaller, but thicker thanks to the not-so-shy 8 mpx camera. Plus, the zoom bar is resistive (i think). So that means they thought putting a huge capacitive screen on that thing means no need for a zoom bar.

What is the use of a 8 mpx camera when you don't have a flash?!
So does it have a flash?

Previously rumored specs talk of a Dual-LED flash. I hope they're true.

HTC is finally moving on from Qualcomm 528MHz processors

Small info: This time the dimensions of the phone and the screen match the picture.
The phone is 121×67x11mm and the display is exactly 4.3".

What a pain "human" is?
Too big of a screen, …. too fast….. too slow….. too much of a pixels……to little of a …… !!!!!!!
First, why not ask yourself what exactly do you want "mobile phone" for? What, when you have one, do you "use" most?
I'm sure 95% of the mobile phone owners use the phone to "make phone calls". If you want to do office works on the phone, which is so odd and quite silly, why not do it in the office. You want good pictures taken, get a digital camera. Once you have all those features in the mobile phone, do you expect it to do all "good"? No way !!!!
I've been settled for an i780, Samsung, with full keyboard, windows OS, 500+ mhz speed, (used or preowned) for little over US $150 in Thailand, for over a year now. Itis been working fine, while seeing so many models and brands which are not half of what I have on mine. And I see no need to get another brand new one, since found nothing comparable and suitable to what I need for.
