XDA Devs Enable Marketplace Installation to SD card
Marketplace has a number of annoying restrictions. One of them is forcing all applications, no matter what the size, to install to internal storange.
With the brainstorming help from a few good XDA Members, including Noonski and others, a method has been found to erase the switch that forces marketplace to install Aplications to the SD card.
The patched application now has Marketplace asking where to install the application, either to main memory or storage card.
The Cab is available to download and install to either storage or internal that will always ask where to install the marketplace app.
Download the cab from this XDA-Developers post here.

Makes me wonder if it's possible to customise it even more? Are we going to see modified interfaces and features in the future?

I have no doubt about that

If it is just a registry switch, which it seems to be from reading the article, MS could have done this, but for some reason they chose not to. My guess is that they figured that the lay user is not smart enough to handle that decision… especially the lay user that might take his/her SD card out and then not understand when programs crash.

no it wasn't a registry switch….it was hardcoded in the app. changing the region though is a registry switch……you can also change your locale in the region section and connect through WiFi and get other stores.

For some reason this one refuses to launch on my Diamond
I've tried everythin, registry entries seems ok. just nothing happens when I click on it. The other versions works but it would be nice to have it on the 4 gig internal storage.
