HTC HD2 coming to T-Mobile USA?!?

2iuvvrl

We knew the HTC HD2 was coming to USA, but if I had to list the carriers most likely to get it T-Mobile would have been right at the bottom of my list (even below AT&T).

Well, according to the poster above (from TmoNews) I am very wrong, and the device is indeed heading the way of USA’s smallest major carrier and unusually promises E-reader content. According to T-MoNews writers the device is set to arrive in Q1 2010.

Now of course we probably need more evidence than the poster, but if the poster is indeed the real deal, we can see that it is  for T-Mobile US not UK due to the strap line “Lets stick together” rather than “Life’s for sharing”.

Keep an eye on TMonews here for more revelations.

I’m on ATT and get great 3G coverage. I’m concerned about Tmo’s 3G coverage and how fast it is.

Why does the poster say 7/30/2009 at the bottom?

if this is true, then I guess I'll hold off on buying that Acer F1 then. I'll wait until next year to see whats up with that. I'm on ATT but I would switch to tmobile if this comes out on their network.

 BOOOO what a big mistake for T-Mobile getting this phone. I do not know why they want T-Mobile has the carrier. T-Mobile is the worst service has you will get no signal and many drop connection using T-Mobile Service. I was hoping Sprint was going to get it has Sprint is twice better service and way better signal thanks to there Fast 3G and soon coming with there Fast 4G. Sprint should have gotten this phone first not crappy T-Mobile carrier. That’s ok I will get unlocked version if they don’t select sprint. Right now I have TP2 and have been happy and has been excellent phone with NO Problems since I have been using it for 2 months now. Also Say BYE BYE Crappy Iphone your time is Over. Thanks to Windows phone.

I don't understand this sentence. So T-Mobile would have been at the bottom of your list. But T-Mobile would have been above AT&T? So it wouldn't be at the bottom of your list, AT&T would?

Or you meant to say "even below AT&T," which solves one problem but displays vast amounts of ignorance. T-Mobile and Sprint are the only two U.S. carriers not to have a Touch Diamond2. It went without saying that the HD2, if it came to the US, would come to one of these two, and only one of these, two.

Come on. Get in the game.

Makes perfect sense to me after seeing the rumors of t-mobiles project black or whatever it's called. Checking their coverage maps on 3g looks like it'd be just about everywhere I need it to be, so no problem for me to switch from ATT if the other project black rumors are true – new cheaper unlimited plans with an HD2 to top it off would make me a very happy camper.

On the T-Mobile network, I can't get the coverage needed in all of the US areas where it is necessary for me to have coverage. Would an unlocked HD2 operate on the Verizon network?

If not, how about on AT&T network?

I can't even get a local T-Mobile number in my area. We have over 500K people in our market and no T-Mobile. 3G or otherwise. I can get 3G on Sprint, Verizon and AT&T but T-Mobile is not even an option. Sucks…I just hope it at least comes out on Telstra. That is how I got my US capable 3G Touch HD. Not the greatest or cheapest option but better than no 3G at all. Basically like buying an unlocked version from HTC themselves.

It's nice that everyone is assuming this is an exclusive. There's no basis for that at all.
