Premier Windows Mobile office suite now 65% off
The premier Windows Mobile office suite is of course not Microsoft’s Pocket Office but Softmaker’s Office.
The suite, which consists of TextMaker (Word analogue), PlanMaker (Excel), and SoftMaker Presentations (Powerpoint) boasts real desktop level features, functionality and compatibility and is a great fit for today’s high resolution, large-screened devices, especially the HTC Touch Pro 2 with its amazing keyboard.
The good news is that this software has just become a lot cheaper, at least for a limited time. If you’re looking for a powerful suite of software to work on Microsoft Office documents, the suite is available for $24.95 USD, or $9.99 for each separate app, but only until November 11th.

I'd consider it if it didn't look like it was designed 10 years ago.

it's a really really good office suite, I use it all the time. they should put it in Martketplace because a lot of people dont' know about….plus they should update the screenshots. Foamy I would say give TextMaker a try and then try Microsoft Word Mobile and see which is better. I vote TextMaker and I think you will have the same reaction I do when you actually try it.

It is way better than MS Office. And has a desktop companion as well. And as far as I know an updated version is in the pipeline…

still, a program that has seen so little maintenance from its maker that the screenshots (even the f***n SCREENSHOTS) are visibly from 2003, i stay away from stuff like that *by principle*. theres been way too much tolerance for BS like that in the windows mobile world for way too long.
you want todays customers, so take care that the UI looks like it is from today, and yes, it would also be appreciated if you would go through the "pain" of making a couple of decent screenshots, too. the way it is, this looks more like a sellout of an unsupported product that has died the development death many many years ago. "for just $25", even? funny!
compare that to the way things go at apples and you know why the iphone does so much better ATM.
