T-Mobile UK confirms HTC HD2, remains otherwise very confused
We have seen the device pop up on their accessories page, and many of us have spoken to their customer service team, but the HTC HD2 has now finally shows up on T-Mobile’s website as coming soon.
Of course our discerning readers may be a bit perturbed by the picture of a device which is clearly not the HD2, and readers who look more closely may be even more disturbed by reading about Android Marketplace compatibility, but rest assured these are simply signs of T-Mobile incompetence rather than any earth shattering moves on HTC’s part.
See the relevant page here, and back up one level to see that they do, in fact, mean the HD2.
Thanks Sander for the tip.

Hmm – How did they mess that up so much?
Incorrect picture, screen size and Android Market?

wow, that's almost an epic screenshot.

I knew we'd get some announcement today! I was hoping for some price information or something from O2 though.

So not only do they screw up the picture – they also spec it as having just a 3.8" screen – which would be the touch 2 right? DOH… but hey at least it's coming to the UK – now if we could just get something out of TMO US…

As far as I can tell, which ever muppet published that thinks it's an HTC Touch HD with Android. All my faith in T-Mobile has been restored!

theres the HTC Touch 2 and the HTC HD2, both of which TMO has, but neither of them have Android
