Here is another dose of the HTC HD2 pron, this time of the Chinese language edition. With the first official confirmation that the device will be coming to USA, hopefully more even more excitement will be generated for the smartphone which is once again putting Windows Mobile on the map.

While WM still retains its ancient WinCE 5 roots, there should always be a task manager at the ready. No matter the RAM. This video exhibits just that.

I have called all my local phone shops and a few said they would never have the HD2 in store for testing, half had no idea which phone i was talking about or had most of the specs wrong and one said that they would probably have one by the end of the month.
Doesn't make me hopeful for getting a hands on in the next few weeks.

I've gotten all the hands on I need to see in all the videos, as soon as I can pre-order it, I'm going to pre-ordering it.

I need to try the capacitive screen first. mostly to see if i can type using the software keyboard.

I'm sure the software keyboard will be fine but it's a lot of money to put down so i need to make sure.

I understand what you saying, but trust me you will find that typing on the capacitive screen is as good as typing on resistive. the key point to remember is: dont' try using your finger nails to type.

If they were in stock and i could get it on a decent contract right now then i'd probably buy it without testing but since there's still no info on o2 contracts and there's going to be a massive shortage from most stores i may as well wait.

I can only imagine the huge shortage that's about to go on for this device, HTC better put their factories on overdrive to make sure they make a lot of this device and flood the market. that's what I would do.
