LG GM730f pops up on FCC with AT&T 3G bands

lgphone2 Not actual confirmation that the device will arrive in US, but the LG GM730F briefly showed up on the FCC with HSDPA on the 850/1900 bands used by AT&T.  LG of course already has the poorly received LG Incite on the carrier, hopefully the more compact device will do better. The user manual also makes mention of AT&T services such as MEdia.Net and Video Share, which seems to make the launch likely.

The smartphone features a 5 megapixel camera, WIFI, bluetooth, GPS and an optical D-pad.  It is pretty small at 109.8 x 56.5 x 11.9 mm, has a 3 inch WQVGA screen and features LG’s S-class user interface. While the picture shows a front-facing camera this is likely to be removed by the time it ends up on the network.

The FCC documentation was initially available, but seems now to have been removed, but I suspect we will still see the handset pretty soon.
