A list of the 27 EA games with timed Nokia Lumia exclusives

MonWindowsPhone has collected a list of 27 EA games which will be coming to Nokia’s Lumia handsets and which will be exclusives for a limited period.

The games include:

With some great tittles in there I sure hope that exclusivity period is not too long!

Real Racing 2 is awesome! I hope WP7 will also support the multiplayer.

I wonder why Battlefield isn’t on the list.

Two issues I have with this:

1. With the current pace of releases we’ll still be waiting for some of these in a year
2. The n.1 Chillingo game, Cut The Rope is not there. Now maybe it’s because it won’t be exclusive to Nokia but I find it very odd that it has a IE9 and a Windows 8 version but the WP7 version is still “being discussed” (quoting a Microsoft rep on The Verge).

in MonWindowsPhone they say something about those games being free for nokia customers… Does anybody know something about that?

That would be great if is free for Nokia WP. If Nokia is footing the bill for exclusivity, it seems plausible that the games would be free, or at least reduced in price for Nokia users.

Yes, the exclusivity it for a limited time, but we don’t know what time frame that is yet.

Not to disparage the current crop of Windows Phone games (there are some nice ones) but its about time we started seeing some really great games come to this platform. I think its a pretty good sign that the major players think the payoff for the investment is there now.

But is this about EA getting genuinely excited about the platform or simply about Nokia showing up with a big bag of money – most of these games have been on other platforms for some time.

bring the real life multiplayer ! and we would appreciate some xbox arcade games ported to wp7 phones like limbo !
But those games looks much better than current ones.

By exclusive, do they mean: temporarly free for Nokia windows phone users, or they can download (and buy) them in advance?

Wow.. That’s a great line up. And pretty much what we’ve all been waiting for. I’m hoping that not ALL of these are exclusives. As well I can’t help but be curious how these games will perform and look on our phones. Here’s hoping we can play these lag free.
