WPCentral posted a quick overview of the Nokia Drive Plus beta running on Windows Phone 8.
The app features some UI improvements, such as better routing options and smoother performance, and now in Windows Phone 8 also runs continuously in the background, due to the new GPS API, which allows users to continue to receive turn by turn directions while the app runs the background.
The app will later receive My Commute, which will predict traffic on your daily commute and synced favourites.
Windows Phones from other OEMs are also expected to get Nokia Drive, but will likely miss out on many of the great features in the enhanced app.
Is Nokia Drive + enough to give the Lumia handsets a leg up all by themselves? Let us know below.
