Didnt see anything new, I hope they start showing a more fully complete and polished OS soon, looking at the same old screens is getting old and I would like to see the device being used in anger eg, launching applications, making a call, creating a message/IM, browsing with 3 tabs.

Yeah, it's the same build from MWC. I think though that that's probably because they're saving the newer stuff for MiX. I keep having this feeling that what we've seen is only half, or at best 60% of the final UI we'll get. Just look at the big empty space a at the top of the start screen above the tiles and the right arrow. I really expect that something is going to show up there, probably for notifications and such.

I hope it gets faster. It has yet to match the Zune HD in smoothness.

Don't forget that it's an early build running on prototype hardware, I'm sure it will run at least as smoothly as the Zune once it's released.

17 minutes of video and not a single phone call or show of the phone itself? This is supposed to be a cell phone, right? lol
seriously, if we have lots of things to keep track of on the start screen, won't it get very long and tiring to keep scrolling down or upwards to look for the particular event??
and all the blue background tiles are kinda…. boring….
