Another HTC HD2 vs Nexus One video

Our least favourite video reviewer has published this video comparing the HTC HD2 vs the Google Nexus One. While getting the screen size wrong and complaining about the Windows Mobile settings when Sense settings completely replaces it does not do much for his credibility, the video may be useful to some who are comparing the device on style and screen size, both areas where the HTC HD2 indisputably rules.

I honestly don't even know why you posted this here. he's a bung head. and I can't believe I sat and watched it all. sigh. *shakes head*

Noah is the only good PhoneDog reviewer, and even his tend to suffer from the immediately taking away marks for running WM.

Thanks for the comments, wont waste my time watching this.

I love that the Nexus One has 512MB of RAM, of which the OS can use half of, and the HD2 has 448MB that are usable by the OS along with 128MB which are hidden. HD2 is clearly far superior!

Also, at one point, my HD2 had more free RAM (with sense running) than the Nexus One could address :D

those android widgets on his home screen are really ugly looking. it's funny how android needs htc to beautify the interface too.

You can't take this video into account. If you can't have an objective opinion don't post videos :)

I'm talking about the phonedog guy, of course.

Hmm, there is more than one Phonedog?

I only know Noah, and he isn't bad, but he does reviews for the really simple folks. Maybe that's his intention or the best he can do with what seems like a somewhat limited knowledge of technology/phones, but his videos are boring and uninformative for me anyways. He just covers the most basic things, and in a most basic fashion.

Anyway, screw the Nexus One. The palm of my hand looks better than that thing… and I know Google wasn't to make this the best selling phone, but doesn't seem like people are that interested in it. I mean, given the overall popularity of Android in general and of Google on the web, it definitely seems like the Nexus One failed to make much noise. I'm still hearing podcasts and sites talk about the Droid, even though the Nexus One is a much newer and more interesting Android phone.

Built by HTC, designed by Google, running on some of the best hardware on any phone (HD2 aside, though WM fails to make use of many of the HD2's nice hardware anyway) and the only phone with Android 2.1… and it seems like barely anyone noticed or bought one. Isn't it weird?

There's nothing wrong with the battery cover, jesus christ! I cringe when he just snaps the HD2 back cover in place like every moron who doesn't value expensive tech and later on blabbler about build quality.

YOU INSERT THE SIDE WITH THE VOLUME ROCKER IN FIRST (BECAUSE IT HAS TWO TRENCHES)….AND THHHEEENNNNNN YOU SNAP IN THE OTHER SIDE!!! I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH!

Yea, I can understand if he has trouble getting to certain screens and whatnot, but for god's sake, it takes less than 5sec to understand how one would open and close the goddamn battery cover.
