Another look at the LG WP7s Slider

Here is another angle on the un-named mystery LG slider running Windows Phone 7 series at the Engadget show. Unlike the other video Engadget released in this instance we actually get to see the device in action, browsing the photo hub, which does give a better appreciation of the size of the smartphone and how it first in the hand.

I'm not interested in the device at all. Only thing I want to say is, this seems to be a different build of wp7s compared to what we saw in mwc.

At around 40 seconds what he was trying to do didn't seem to work. I realise that the product is still in the early stages and probably isn't even Beta yet. I have a HD2 and to me the Sense UI seems more efficient and more graphically appealing. I can see all the extra hubs or panels that get set up will just create a new version of the cluttered desktop that came with XP. This is why I think Android is better when the Sense UI is applied.

Anyway it will be nice to see these phones in the wild to see what the experience is really like.

Microsoft has a lot of work left on their hands with this OS, because even in this clip I can see the device froze up a bit. I watched the live stream over at engadget and counted about 2 freezing…however it seems to un freeze itself after awhile.

and can someone tell me why Microsoft always do a pizza search?

I don't care what the naysayers above say, that is a hot looking D-Pad-enabled WP7S device. Considering we're (realistically) 9-10 months away from release of this device, I am not at all considered about a momentary UI blip, considering the OS they are running probably still has debug flags enabled (slower), doesn't have optimized display drivers for the chipset, and isn't even out of beta yet.
