Ask Brandon Watson about Windows Phone 7 With Windows Phone 7 devices now finally no longer theory but actual phones in actual pockets, we have been given an opportunity to reflect on the development and future of new mobile OS with Brandon Watson, Microsoft’s Director for Windows phone and main developer evangelist.

Besides taking feedback from a large number of interviews with developers we are also soliciting questions from our readers.

If there is any burning question our readers feel need to be answered (bearing in mind only about half will in fact get picked) please leave them in the comments below.

I was told by a MS rep that visual VM is a carrier base update and they are waiting on AT&T to release it.

Has the Problem were we need to occasionally re-enter the Access Point Name to restart the Internet connection been Resolved ?

This is actually a problem with the application. If the application want to keep running, it must excecute the "RunsUnderLock" command.

That is currently the case, but the GPS application need to redo calculations which takes a while to resume.
