Microsoft taking Windows Phone Marketing suggestions on UserVoice site
I have an inkling this might not be a new story, but I know our readers are full of opinions on how to better market Windows Phone 7, and I don’t want to miss this chance to remind our readers of this opportunity to get your idea to Microsoft.
Microsoft’s Windows Phone User Voice sit is taking Marketing suggestions. They write:
If you’re here, we assume that’s because you love Windows Phone as much as we do – but maybe you’re frustrated that word’s not getting out to everyone about how great Windows Phones are? Just like with your suggestions on features to add to future versions of the product, we’d like your suggestions on how we can spread the word about Windows Phone itself via advertising campaigns, community or social media involvement and other types of promotions. Creativity highly encouraged, let us know what your ideas are!
Standard Disclaimer – our lawyers made us put this here
Please note that the Windows Phone Advertising and Promotion Suggestion Box is moderated and is a voluntary participation-based project, and if your submission is not a relevant suggestion it may be removed. Please do not send any novel or patentable ideas, copyrighted materials, samples or demos which you do not want to grant a license to Microsoft. See the “Terms of Use” link below for more information. Please limit your suggestions to 25 words or less.
The site already has more than 100 suggestions, from reasonable ones such as Make a TV campaign using the Smoked By Windows Phone challenge to pretty radical ones such as Offer to buy out contracts early termination fees for a limited time for current android and iphone users.
Add your own suggestion at the site here.

Bounty for HSPL for the HTC Titan reaches nearly $500 so far
There is a movement on XDA-Developers at the moment to raise a bounty to motivate a XDA ROM hacker to develop a HSPL or RSPL for the HTC Titan, which should allow custom ROMs and all kind of other hackery, up to and including running other operating systems on the handset.
So far, in little over 2 weeks, the XDA-Dev members have pledged $480, and while this is a lot, it is not enough to buy an unlocked HTC Titan yet, and so far no devs have bitten.
If you want to do a lot more with your HTC Titan, and feel like contributing to the cause, hop on over to the XDA-Developers thread and pledge your contribution here.
Thanks RyoTGZ for the tip.
Another contender for the most embarrassing Windows Phone fan video
There have been a few Windows Phone fan videos which have gone viral (who can forget the rapping white girls) and this one seems to be intentionally going for the cringe factor.
Of course everything these Microsoft student partners say is true, so I see no problem in helping to spread their word

Its Time For Nokia Lumia 800/900 Design Clones ! !
If a phone design is highly praised by everyone or sales of a device takes off, there will be some obvious rip-offs coming to the market from Chinese markets. The latest victim to such shameless act is our own Nokia Lumia 900/800/N9 design. As you can see in the above image, the phone makers have done a high precision engineering to do such a clone ! ! LOL. Even the device comes with various colors such as White, Yellow, etc,.
Leave out Chinese manufacturers, I find the latest Xperia phone from Sony Ericsson looks a lot like Lumia 900/800.
Take a look at the image below,
Some of you may not find them similar, but I think they are. Look at the colors offered, slight changes from Lumia color availability.

Coeliac Map app lets you find Gluten Free places to eat near you
Coeliac Disease (pronounced see-liac, also spelt Celiac Disease) is an autoimmune disease, which means that the immune system mistakenly attacks the small intestine. Gluten triggers this immune reaction and is found in wheat, barley and rye, all of which are commonly used in cooking.
Finding somewhere to eat out is pretty tricky if you have Coeliac Disease, as I have found out since being diagnosed two years ago.
Coeliac Map crowd-sources Gluten Free places to eat from around the world with reviews and photos.
When the app starts, you will see a list of places to eat that have been reviewed and rated by Coeliacs based on your location:
You can quickly view the details (address, phone number, etc.), reviews, share to social networks and add your own reviews.
Coeliac Map relies on submissions, so adding a new venue has been made simple. Using Bing™ search, you can find the address and add your review.
The app also lets you search for places by keywords (e.g. pizza), browse on a map and see the latest places that have been added globally.
