CDMA Samsung Omnia in the works?

According to CellphoneSignal Samsung is preparing a CDMA Omnia with more or less the same feature set as the GSM version, simply with EVDO Rev A substituted for HSDPA. The device would be called the Samsung i910 and will feature:

  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • WLAN
  • EDVO
  • Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
  • 5 mega pixel camera with aoutofocus, image stablizer, geo-tagging,
  • FM radio with rds
  • Bluetooth with 2ADP
  • GPS
  • Microsoft Viewer
  • 8gb and 16gb
  • Battery 1440 mAh

The story is relatively believable given Samsung’s many handsets such as the Samsung Instinct on CDMA networks in US and the presence of CDMA networks in its native Korea.
