imageThe Microsoft Mobile installed base in USA has suffered a further drop, with 15,000 less users of Windows Mobile and Windows Phone in USA in January 2012, as measured by Comscore.

At the moment 4.4% of 101 million US smartphone subscribers use a Microsoft mobile OS, down from 4.6 million in December 2011.

With the Windows Mobile share obviously fading fast, we expect this number to continue to decrease until Windows Phone market share rises to meet it, hopefully with the launch of the Nokia Lumia 900 soon.
