Cool Transparent Windows Mobile concept phone

I have a vague memory of posting this before, but could not find it in our archive. In any case, even if not new, the concept is still cool enough for another outing.
The concept shows a transparent touch-screen based phone, supposedly Windows Mobile, that makes great use of the display surface.
Who knows, with Samsung pushing transparent OLED, this may be come reality sooner rather than later. Now they just need somewhere to hide the battery…

That would be totally awesome but id say we are 10-20 years from that concept becoming reality. Printing OLEDs on glass we got down already. Its the nearly invisible electronics and battery part we need to get down.
some kind of such a phone is already available. dont remember the name of it but the slide keyboard is like the phone on the pictures. yes the batterie as example would be a problem i guess

batery, processor.. and some other hardware lol
What about those clear displays they use in avatar? Well they are much larger than our phones, but I would take one of them any day over the "i-Maxipad" . Thinking of a Tegra 2 chipset with battery and everything located at the side giving a good one handed grip. And the display coming out from that. It would be awsome, and with the samsung display, clearly the technology exist today
Yep, another one of those "looks cool" but are grossly impractical HMI wise and technologically. As others have already noted, it will probably never come to market within our lifetime because there's no way to make batteries and processors "transparent". Then there's no reason for the display to be transparent when it has the "cloud" up to display anything readable.
