Dell Venue Pro clears GCF, hitting the UK on the 6th January 2011

Clove UK has announced that the Dell Venue Pro with European HSDPA hands will be hitting their virtual shelves on the 6th January 2011.

Apparently delays have been blamed on a “component issue”, but the handset will soon be available for £440 including VAT.

The handset has also cleared the Global Certification Forum, where it supports triband HSDPA (UMTS/HSDPA at 900/1700/2100 MHz) which means 3G roaming in Europe and T-Mobile USA. It is not clear of this version will be sold in Europe or not.

Hold your orders: The folks from XDA Developers are currently receiving defective phones, and phones with just 225MB RAM (instead of 512MB RAM).

The Venue Pro surely looks good, but don't be deceived by it as the service and quality is pretty horrible so far.
