Dell Venue Pro Delayed Until Mid-Feb In UK

Dell Venue Pro, one of the hottest Windows Phone 7 device has been delayed in UK again until Mid of the February and the delay is being caused by a Microsoft software

issue with the MMS settings for the carriers. Previously we reported that that the Dell Venue Pro will be with European HSDPA hands will be hitting the Clove UK virtual

shelves on the 6th January 2011, due to delays on a “component issue”. Hope we get Dell venue pro this time without any further delay.

It's so frustrating!

I think may well cancel the order I had placed now! Fed up of waiting. Dell, you produced a great phone. Then you let us down with the continual delays, the wall of silence so each time we are only notified the day before it should arrive, the small RAM and confusion on it. It's like you're trying to kill this phone Dell. Is Google paying you or something? Why would this MMS issue take a month to solve and not be noticed until now? Why are these problems not affecting the Dell Venue too (the android phone??

lol anyone who wants this phone might as well wait for the second gen WP7s… Or just get another phone, the Venue Pro is ugly IMO, I initially liked it from the photos, but since it was "released" the other shots I have seen of it make it look far to chunky and you cant change the SD card with out voiding it, so IMO its completely pointless. I am more than happy with my HD7.

Just ordered this 2day free on a £30/Month Contract….already have a Samsung Omnia 7, which I also got free on a £25/Month Contract.

Looks like I'll be keeping the Samsung Omnia 7 and cancelling the Dell Venue Pro.

I punked out. Lol, I think we were 2 of the few people on this site on sprint patiently waiting for a WP7. I couldn't wait with my damn flip phone (the touch pros broke) anymore and I left sprint and actually bought a Venue Pro (i really didn't want to leave sprint but the promotional plan on tmobile is 1500 minutes + unlimited everything else for the 500 minutes price). The phone is great but that wifi bug is a nuisance. Keep ya head old boy, that 7 pro is coming.

hahaha.. I can't BELIEVE people STILL considering buying from Dell. I've said it a bajillion times; anyone who buys from Dell deserves what they get. RESEARCH them. They are horrific for launches, and product reliability.
