Dell Venue Pro Now Available From AT&T For $99 On Contract

venue-pro-att Dell venue pro was available in US previously from T-Mobile and in unlocked form from dell’s website. Now Dell Venue Pro is up for pre order on US’s largest network AT&T. Its available for $99 under 2 year contract.

It is also available unlocked for $499 and in 8,16,32 GB storage options.

Hopefully the phone will come with all the known issues fixed – we suggest users confirm this before jumping in.

Whoa. I gotta believe they will come with the new firmware? If they can make this 8G/16G/32G config to work, I think this is the best way to go — leave the price vs capacity decision to consumers. Slick design, AMOLED and portrait qwerty should make the phone a strong contender IMO.

I really wanted to like this phone, but the forums really blasted the problems with this phone. A lot of users were upset on how this was handled. That said, if the problems have been fixed, I would like to get this phone. I like my Samsung Focus, but I really miss a physical keyboard. And, it doesn't look like AT&T will be getting the HTC 7 Pro.

I love the phone but since I am under contract I can't see getting a Dell . At this time next year My contract will be up and I am getting a Nokia W8.

Provided that the known issues with the DVP have been remedied, as well as NoDo pre-installed, I really think that this phone will have a better opportunity to sell more units. It’s such a uniquely designed phone – there’s nothing out there that really looks like it, so it gives the owner some distinction from the sea of sameness phones out there today. Not to mention that, if these phones are actually in the ATT stores, people will actually be able to touch, feel, and test it out, which the current owners did not have an opportunity to do unless they were able to purchase it at a Microsoft store.

it seems the 32gb model is unavailable if you choose AT&T and go for the 2 year contract
