Why? They like to write words using the stylus. I don't know why... But for a lot of people, that is their preferred method of input in China. They don't mind the pecking with the stylus at all. As always, these are only my own observations. I'm not saying it's the truth. It's just what I see daily on the streets and in the subways. Since the number of cell phone users is probably much less than 1.3 billion, the margin of error would be even less. Of course, this is all assuming that it's a good sample and a well-conducted scientific survey.
