Eldar : Nokia has 4 Windows Phone 7 handsets in R&D

Perennial phone oracle Eldar Murtazin from Mobile-Review.com has tweeted that Nokia has 4 Windows Phone 7 handsets in R&D at present.

According to the tweet 2 handsets will be Chassis 1, meaning at least 1 Ghz processors and capacitive screens.  He also however said 2 other handsets will be chassis 2, like the HTC Ignite (presumably) which has been a handset recently leaked with an 800 Mhz processor and supposedly a resistive screen.

If the Windows Phone 7 market fragments into those with and without multi-touch that would clearly be rather dramatic and likely very damaging to the software ecosystem. If true, how do our readers feel about this move? Let us know below.
