Above we have the full specs of the HTC HD7 / HTC Schubert, and they reveal a handset which is slightly bigger in all dimensions that the HTC HD2, which measures 120.5 x 67 x 11 mm compared to 122 x 68x 11.2 mm for the HTC HD7. It also revealed the handset supports the T-Mobile USA 3G frequency at 1700 MHz, but of course we do not know if this support will be there in all handsets, or just the US versions.
Readers will recall the HCT Schubert was intended to show up on T-Mobile USA, and now we know it will in fact be the flagship HTC HD2 replacement. Of note is that the HTC HD2 was shipped with a 16 GB MicroSD in USA vs an 8 GB in Europe, and the very same may occur on this occasion, with the specifications mentioning the 8GB is specifically for EU.
Of less significance, but of note, is that HTC’s applications also now include a ToDO list, Bedside clock and Parking Meter Widget, all of which could prove useful, depending on implementation.
