Finally! AR.Drone controlled by a Windows Phone

There are very few cool applications on iOS and Android which I envy, but the ability to control a robot copter has always been one of them.

Now finally we have seen that it is in fact possible to support that functionality in Windows Phone.

Three students, John Brock, David Dornier, Alex Perovich from Texas A&M has implemented the required APIs using a Windows Phone, and have posted this video to show that it really works.

Hopefully the students will continue to develop their project into a marketplace app, as there is certainly a lot of demand, as can be seen in this forum thread at Parrot here, and then of course I can finally buy that AR.Drone for myself also ;)
