First Direct Banking app heading to Windows Phone

A tipster has informed us UK HSBC subsidiary First Direct will soon be launching a Windows Phone 8 app.

The bank currently has apps for iOS, Android and Blackberry, but not Windows Phone.

On Android their mobile app lets you view statements for the last 90 transactions, make transfers, and make payments to those you have paid before.  Presumably the Windows Phone app will have a similar feature set.

The app is expected to hit the store on the 26th June, and will join apps by Barclays, Natwest, Lloyds, TSB, RBS, Halifax and the Bank of Scotland.

Thanks to our tipster.
