HTC 7 Trophy coming to Verizon in January?

For all all our readers waiting for a WP7 phone on Verizon, Paul Thurrott is reporting that the HTC Trophy will be the first device coming to the network in January. The device has good specs but is unfortunately still limited to 8GB of storage. HTC needs to step up and bring higher capacity devices the market.

As I sit here with my smoothly running 40Gb Samsung Focus, I don't think I could stomach such lousy storage capacity.

Also, in a statement,it was said that the HtC Trophy would be one of many Windows Phones ton come to Verizon, so yeah, awesome.

Replying on a Trophy. I haven't checked in particular but if you don't mind voiding the warranty you could probably install a larger card on your own.

The trophy is an ok device but HTC micrso sd card memory is not working out to well for speed. The WP7 OS is speedy enough but loading of apps (especially games) is too slow on the HTC devices. The Samsung and LG devices are much faster in that.
With more competition coming from the Dell en Asus devices HTC need to step up their offering (or cheapen it down)

Just wondering, what exactly is "too slow". I usually compare my new phone (Surround) to my old offering (Tilt2) and honestly there is no comparison. Yes, the Samsung and LG "may" be faster, but don't say something is too slow, just because it may be a tad off the mark of the fastest competitor. Like telling me my Corvette (wish I had one) is too slow. My Surround has the best speaker ever used in a portable device but I am not going to knock the other devices because they are "too tinny". Every device has tradeoffs. That's why WP7 has 9 phone offerings now, and counting.
