HTC having a London meetup September 1st – new handsets to be revealed

We are all waiting for HTC’s long rumoured new Windows Phone 7.5 handsets to be revealed, and another potential day for the great unveil has just popped up.

On their Facebook page HTC is inviting the public to come “See what’s Next” in London on September 1st, coincidentally also the day rumoured to be the launch day of Windows Phone 7.5 and one day before IFA.

Hopefully we will finally see the long-awaited HTC Eternity, Omega and slew of other rumoured handsets.

Samsung’s announcement is highly unlikely to be about Windows Phone – it is on the 1st because of IFA – and their advert for the event features image of the wave/ocean (ocean in Korean is ‘bada’). So they probably will announce release of Bada 2.0 and next phone from the Wave series.

I’d be surprised if any WP devices were shown…there have been more Android blurry cam shots of HTC devices and zilch on WP. But, hopefully, for you HTC fans, you’ll get something (and probably a mediocre something)

Ahh HTC will bring 10 Android Devices and 1 WP device. None for Sprint! :p I really hope they do bring some WP7 devices.

I don’t know about anybody, but I don’t even give a crap about HTC devices anymore – they are a waste of time nowadays. My enthusiasm will rise when I hear Nokia doing something similar to this – I truly hope they hurry up though, this market moves swiftly (it’s an especially ripe time to pick off the disenfranchised WebOS users – well, at least the ones who’ve finally waken-up from their dream-like stasis state, like cult members waiting for their messiah’s arrival).
