HTC HD now running with Android 2.1 and Sense UI

The World of Windows Mobile has been compromised by Android. The HTC HD, which was once the best Windows Mobile devices is slowly becoming the best Android ported device. Earlier this week an Android port was made for the HD and that port came with Sense UI and Android 2.1 software. That means if you own an HD and have the newest dual booting system, you can get this going on your device. The files can be found on XDA and remember this is not perfect yet, they are some missing things like:

Working:
-Radio Fully Works.
-SMS Fully Works.
-Vibration.
-USB Charging and Debugging.
-Touch screen.
-Keyboard.
-Microphone.
-Front Speaker.

Not Working
-Wifi
-GPRS
-GPS
-Bluetooth
-External Speaker
-HTC Widgets. (Thinking of getting rid of them)
-Other things (Will be determined during the process of testing)

Great now we can have prove that WM reigns. How?

I bet most people after using both OS for a good period of time will realize that the versatility, maturity, flexibity, quality and quantity of apps of WM is superior end will be booting just one. the Winner, Windows Mobile 7

Lots of stuff doesn't work it seems. Well this is nice for the hacking community over at XDA and all, but I'll hold off on the Android bandwagon till I see what WM7 will be like.

Boohoo, still no Android for the HD2.

Would be nice to get it on the 4.3 inch screen before Android gets its own mega-screened model, which can't be too far off now.

It is actually easy to get it on the HD2, just the device is too expensive for people that port to get… but it is easy since the HD2 is WVGA

what the freaking point?? GPS is not working! internet is not working! if you want something that got no gps or no internet, why not just get Motorola Razr, it slimmer and much lighter too!

It is still a work in progress.Don't expect to see everything up and running in a test build, and most importantly a device which is not supposed to run it. At least the feature that makes it a phone(phone&sms) are working
