Compared with the Diamonds the HD mini suffers from lower resolution (maybe it should have been named LD, low definition, instead). And also lack of stylus, which can be a problem in many WinMo applications; especially on such a small screen. In my opinion, it is not a worthy successor of the Diamond1 and 2. Still hoping for a Diamond3…

The only thing sites and reviewers seem to be latching on to is that it has a capacitive screen, as if that alone is reason to buy a phone that is underpowered, sporting an oddball resolution and a small screen. HTC shouldnt have bothered.

Hm. Depends on your budget. If they can make this thing like $25 on contract, it would definitely be attractive to those on a budget. If it's only a modest $50-$100 cheaper than the HD2, though. Yea, I don't see any reason to buy it.

Mikael is hoping for a Diamond 3 as I'm hoping for a Touch Pro 3 (basically a HD2 with a keyboard and not WP7).
