HTC HD2 coming to T-Mobile USA 24th March?

We have written earlier about TMoNews’s speculation that the HTC HD2 was coming in March, based on a Dark Project Training date on the 19th March. They have not managed to narrow down the date even further by laying their hands on this slide, which clearly shows the handset with a launch date of the 24th March.

I know some of our US readers are pretty impatient for the device to arrive, but it is clear that even in 6 weeks time the HTC HD2 will still be the best specified handset in the US.

since my att user plan is about to end and il have to pay full price im considering switching to tmo for the hd2.
has there service got any better specifically in northern va outside dc? i had them years ago and they were the worst by far

Why would you have to pay full price if you're a new TMo subscriber? You should be able to get the subsidized price like anyone else.

nooo i worked at best buy and got a unlimited use ATT contract for the past 2 years that was just 20 a month and now thats about to end as they finally realized i stopped working

It's really a toss-up at this point. Getting this with all of WM's ugliness and warts and no real definite OS future, no OLED screen, beholden to leak updates from MS, but hardware buttons; or Nexus One with the immaturity of the OS, born in the shadow of the iPhone, yet full-weight of Google behind it.

Neither has hardware keyboards.

Been waiting for the American HD2 for months now but I have a question. I may be transferred to the UAE in August. Will the US/3G/TMO version work in the Middle East? How will I know before plunking down several hundered $$? Thank you in advance if anyone knows the answer.

What frequencies they use in UAE? Then connect it to what American HD2 supports. You may just be able to get away with EUR HD2 isntead.
