HTC Omega/ HTC Radar hands-on video

Greek blog techblog.gr have published this hands-on video of the HTC Omega. The handset is appearentl heading to T-Mobile Germany and will come with Navigon Select Telekom Edition. The poster confirms the handset to be branded as the HTC Radar, and the About screen confirms only 8 GB storage.

Nice phone. But just like always, HTC likes to put as less storage as possible in their phones. My Omnia 7 with 16GB costs 200 euro.
Come on HTC. Step up your game please.

I dont know about swappable Mem card, but Nokia is releasing with Zeiss lens cameras with their phones. Also it is not just now, Nokia is noted for a their build quality and designs. Look at their N9 (may be coming as Sea-ray with WP7). HTC and Samsung may not be the right OEMs for WP7. I have decided to wait for Nokia to release. Sammy has no phones announced for WP7 today

If for nothing else, this phone will sell simply because the color scheme of the shell/case stands out! There are many consumers who want a phone that looks good and/or just ‘different’. If I were a newcomer to the ‘smartphone’ world, or if didn’t have an oem preference, or no ‘bias’ (good or bad) about a particular oem or OS, I would definitely be drawn to this device for further inspection!

I think it is refreshing to see something other than black devices on the shelves; this phone gives consumers a ‘two tone’ alternative.

I hope it sells well!

Question to the board: I saw a spec listing posted on WPCentral regarding this device, and there was a question mark with regards to the front facing camera. In this video, I can see the notification light in the earpiece grill; there are two round/circular areas on this phone, one on the left and on the right – if one of them is the proximity sensor, is it safe to assume that the other could be the front facing camera?

That is definately a front facing camera on this device. Like arody araujo said, you can clearly see the Tango app when he is scrolling thru the app list. Not bad for a supposed bottom of the barrel Mango device.
