Is this the HTC Obsession? – likely not

The above rendering has shown up on GSMhelpdesk.nl, purporting to the the HTC Obsession.

Of course the very android screen shot may be a bit of a problem, and the device does look like a typically unattractive android device, so it does seem rather unlikely.

Do our readers think this device measures up in any way to the HTC HD2? Let us know below.

Im pretty sure this is a fake! Its a Touch HD with buttons, nothing more…

Uh, this is a custom render that someone made back when the Touch HD was released. It was the person's "dream" of a Touch HD Android edition.

And, if I remember correctly, the extra bezel around the screen was so the screen could flip and reveal a keyboard like the G1. It's a cool concept phone (and I wish the original Touch HD was like this), but not real in any way.
