Last NoDo updates to all WP7 handsets should start being delivered in 10 days (update: except Telstra and Telefonica)

It seems we will soon be able to put the NoDO debacle behind us, with Eric Hautala from Microsoft saying that the update is now in scheduling for the HTC Surround on AT&T, for customers of Deutsche Telekom in Europe and also for Optus customers in Australia.

According to the Where’s my phone update? page that means ~~all the carriers listed~~ all carriers except Telstra and Telefonica are now either in scheduling or delivery, and for those who are in scheduling delivery should start in around 10 days.

With the end of NoDo in sight ironically we are soon expecting a new update to provide a patch for a certificate security issue starting in May.

Wrong.

Hopefully everybody means everybody everywhere! Bring on the update patch next wednesday. Maybe it will be a massive rollout. not measured!

Im definitely happy about the nodo update. I can't wait for what's in store for 7.5. Nokia, lets see some gorgeous hardware with 7.5 to boot. My money is ready.

Did you guys just fabricate the headline to get page views? Telstra in Australia is still testing. I don't know how that equivalates to me getting my NoDo update within 10 days.

The cynical thing is that Telstra have already released nodo for their latest hd7 handset. Anyway they can't run forever and should release it soon-ish. Good on Microsoft for naming and shaming.

I have a HD7 with a Telsra ROM and didn't get the final NoDo yet. It is a 7389 release, not the 7390 release.

Since I tryied a 7390 before, I feel the latest release faster than the 7389.

Yup good point. Still they do have something Nodo-ish on their network right now. How different would 7389 be from 7390? I would think their testing should be over by now?

Guess I will believe it when I see it for my Surround. Dude, Where's My Update still says "testing", but I will check again later. You never know.

Good thing that I used the Hungarian VPN method instead of waiting for Telefonica to get their act together, I just hope the Vpn method will work for Mango too.

looks like the Omnia 7 NODO updates have been pulled since 11th April do your sources have any news on this ? as Samsung, Microsoft not giving any information

I'll back up the omnia 7 comment above.. got my phone a couple of days ago and cant get it to update past 7008 (which incidently is the year i'll probably be able to copy and paste).. as a user of win mobile since 2002 I have to say I like the interface.. but jeez where are all the things I used to be able to do?
