I am Eric from Presse-citron, sorry I couldnt reply earlier, being on my flight back from Seoul to Paris.
The reason why I deleted this tweet is simply because of a NDA we all signed for another purpose but I was not sure this news was under NDA or not. Having a doubt about this I’d rather delete my tweet, due to the respect of confidentiality LG team deserves.

As many of you have speculated, the reason those tweets were pulled was because the information was wrong. Exact dates of WinMo 7 devices are not yet confirmed. If we at LG don't know these details, how would Presse-Citron?

I will wait till Mobile World Conference to hear what Microsoft are really doing and forget there rumours…they cannot afford to not bring Winmo 7 out too late and September is too late IMO.

Back in the old days of dialup, ATDT (ATtention Dial DTMF Tone) was the command you would use tell you modem to dial a number. Unless this update is saying you can use scripting to control events like Twitter updates, i don’t see what the big deal is. As l3v5y said, you can send an SMS to Twitter to appear as an update.

Oh god, these news "leaks" and stuff are, imo, greenlit from MS I bet. As MWC is getting closer we're probably going to start seeing way little tidbits like this on twitter and so on. Just to help build up the hype. MS keeping quiet about it all is meant to keep us guessing if these bits are real or not.

As for the twitter bit. if true, then all you have to do is craft your msg like the above format.

"ATDT" the network your on, so probably AT&T, then your phone number and the msg. So I'm guessing they've made it as simple as writing a text msg. The system probably has your twitter info in it linked to your phone number so it'll do the work for you. That's my best guess right now.
