Microsoft working on bringing operator billing to India

imageCIOL.com reports that Microsoft in in the process of arranging operator billing in India.

Vineet Durani, director- Windows Phone, Microsoft India said, “We are in the process of announcing a telecom operator for the above facility within the next few months.”

The deal is essential in India as ownership and use of credit and debit cards are very low, due to security concerns.

Windows Phone Store already supports 59 Mobile Operator billing connections in 36 countries, a key advantage over iOS, which does not offer the facility.
